I don't know about the rest of you, but I am enjoying a nice, cool winter right now in Australia. I do not miss the Louisiana summers of my youth one bit.

Wayne,

As you may know, I am a New Yorker,... unfortunately. The summers here in Brooklyn are usually hot, and the beachgoers tend to have their cars backed up past my block (Im not too far fom the beach).

This summer: it has literally rained 44 of the last 97 days; if not, its been overcast. Its been humid everyone of those 80s degree days; we reached 90 I believe only one or two single days. This morning its in the 50s and crystal clear. And the beach vendors are nearly out of a job; they lost all business this summer.

'nough said. -Ben
