Andrew,

You might want to check out the Directory <http://www.collectspace.com/directory> as many have registered noting their ages and I have noticed a few of the more recent submissions have included collectors closer to your age.

I would suspect, though, that everyone here would consider themselves young -- young at heart!

In Europe we have some Spaceflight groups specially directed towards Youngsters aged 10-18 about collecting space memorabilia, I know of two groups in Belgium and one in Holland, they even have exhibitions during which they put NASA lithos upon boards in schools during the weekend, especially for the commemoration of 30th anniversary of Apollo mission or so ...
Sometimes remarkable to see what they have, I met a Youngster aged 14 who had saved his weekly allowance of $5 to buy a space-suit glove of a Russian Sokol suit which he payed
$220 ... They especially collect the NASA booklets such as the SpinOff series and EP-numbered booklets ... I saw Spinoff book going way back to 1976 with them !!!
Great to see that even without a lot of money great things can be established and being an "adult" (33) collector, I regularly give them stuff I have twice; lithos or booklets ... Happy Collecting to You !

All times are CT (US)
