Today (July 15) marks 50 years since the dual launches of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (or Experimental Flight Soyuz-Apollo). From NASA (Art credit Paul Calle):
Fifty years ago today, an Apollo spacecraft launched into space and days later, docked with a Soyuz spacecraft for the first time. NASA astronaut Thomas Stafford and cosmonaut Alexei Leonov shook hands in space on July 17 and paved the way for future cooperation on the space shuttle, Mir Space Station, and International Space Station.

More on the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project.

I have seen two "50 Years Ago" articles from NASA this year regarding the ASTP flight: Oddly, I have not seen a "50 Years Ago" article in that series regarding the ASTP launch. Here is a "45 Years Ago" launch article from July 15, 2020.

The "50 Years Ago" series of articles goes way back to 2017.

The American Space Museum had a great 50th Anniversary event with John Tribe and Jay Honeycutt speaking at the event.

A great event with once in a lifetime stories.
