Robert Pearlman Editor Posts: 54731 From: Houston, TX Registered: Nov 1999	posted 06-15-2025 01:58 PM I cannot say for certain that the policy dates as far back as Slayton, but a recent inquiry with public affairs returned a statement from the Astronaut Office that no photos or videos (for public distribution) are allowed inside the Astronaut Office (or the office of the Chief Astronaut) as a long-standing rule. I was seeking something that dated to John Young's time as chief (and afterwards).
