In footage of Gemini neutral buoyancy training there are clearly air bubbles emerging from the helmet and chest pack area of the suit. This was surely the same suit as actually worn — G4C.
So did it leak when used on EVA?

Yes, all of the Gemini and Apollo era suits leaked air, there was an acceptable leak rate during integrity checks.
The Apollo 1 fire investigation discusses the crew suit leak rates varied as the crew moved about the cabin.
These style suits are sealed using zippers.
The Gemini suit helmets rotated and sealed at the neck ring, which could leak. This was one of the reasons the bubble helmet was introduced for Apollo, along with the reduced risk of the astronaut neck breaking during rapid cabin pressure loss.

All spacesuits leak. That is factored into the amount of consumables needed to support the durations of the EVAs. The nominal suit leak rate plus metabolic needs is what determines the size of the O2 tanks in the PLSS.
