I have been looking for any information, website, or photographs of the dynamic testing of the Apollo Saturn V Dynamic Test Vehicle (SA-500D) at the Marshall Space Flight Center in the late 1960s. |

There are two good documents covering the dynamic testing of the Saturn V, NASA Technical Note D-5831, and a collection of 21 sheets of technical drawings and notes of the dynamic tower at MSFC. This also shows how it was adapted for the shuttle testing. I can send you these if you wish. With regard to the upper sections of the Apollo/Saturn stack; vibro-acoustic testing was carried out in building 49 at the Manned Spacecraft Centre. There are a few good images of this and again I will send you these. |

The testing at MSC was essentially the Apollo spacecraft stack from the SLA up to LES. |

Thanks that would be great. Were the tests at MSC with CSM-105? |

Am I right concerning the structural makeup of the AS-500D vehicle - S-1C-D, S-II-F/D, and S-1VB-D stages plus S-IU-200/500D Instrument Unit. The Apollo Boilerplate-27 and SLA-1? Was LTA-2 used during the testing of the Saturn V? It was used in Saturn 1B testing for what would become Apollo 5. |

No, after dynamic test, LTA 2 become LTA 2R and flight with Apollo 6. LM 1 flight with Apollo 5. |
