I was wondering if there is a website that lists all the dialogue from Gemini 4. I couldn't find anything on my own. Thanks for the help! |

NASA's Communications Transcripts archive includes the Gemini 4 PAO Mission Commentary Transcript and the Composite Air-to-Ground and Onboard Voice Tape Transcription. |

Thanks Robert! I was just going through it but was having a hard time telling who is saying what. The letters they use are confusing. Does anyone know who C, CC and the rest of them are? |

'C' is Command Pilot (McDivitt); 'P' is Pilot (White) and 'CC' is CapCom (Mission Control). |

Awesome thanks! I had heard that Borman and Lovell had said some things but I didn't see it anywhere. |

Borman and Lovell were the backup crew for Gemini 4. The Capcoms were Grissom, Chaffee and Cernan. Since neither Borman nor Lovell were Capcoms, there's no reason to think that either of them would be talking directly to the crew during the mission. But to your point, it would be nice if the transcripts let us know which Capcom was talking to the crew. As helpful as they are, they certainly lack in some rather interesting details. |

Sounds like Jim McDivitt is talking to Frank Borman at around 69 30 12 GET in the transcripts: CC: Roger. Understand. You two ready to come home yet? P: Say again. CC: Are you two ready to come home yet? C: I'm sure getting tired of looking at his ugly face. He needs a shave. CC: We're getting tired of hearing that silly voice, too, McDivitt. C: Hello, Frankie. CC: How are you doing? C: Well, I'm waiting until 12:58 so I can fire my thrusters again. CC: Ha! Ha! This is the most fun you've had in 2 days, I'll bet. C: Yes, it's the first time I've fired the thrusters in 2 days. CC: Have at it, flight-time hogs! |

Nice catch! Yeah, I'm curious if Lovell or Cernan said anything on this too. |

The conversation can be heard in the Gemini 4 audio files in Part 26. |

If you're on a PC then you could do a search of the document. Try searching for the words Jim, Gene, Frank, Borman, Cernan or Lovell. From time to time the astronauts in space call the Capcoms by their name and when this happens you can find it in the transcripts. |

I can't find this part in the transcript so does anyone know for sure if it's McDivitt that says "Let's see what the Flight Directors got to say?" before Kraft jumps on? I just want to make sure it's McDivitt and not White saying it. |
