What was the analogy that Gene Cernan made for his very difficult Gemini 9 EVA?

I recall reading or hearing something where he described it as being like standing on his head while blindfolded, trying to mate two garden hoses together that were going full blast.

What was the exact description he made?

Was it Dick Gordon who said that some of the EVA work was like trying to tie your shoes one-handed? (I believe that was him, referencing tying the tether to the Agena.)

In "Last Man" Geno stated the following about the EVA...
Connect two garden hoses and turn on the water. Now, using only one hand, try to unscrew them. Or, hold a bottle of soda or beer at arms length, and using a single hand, remove the twist off top. For extra reality, run a mile before you start so you're nice and tired, do it while wearing two pairs of extra thick gloves and close your eyes to simulate not being able to see. Stand on your head while doing some of these things to resemble tumbling in space.

Thanks, Jeff. That's EXACTLY what I was looking for! I should've known I could count on a good ol' North Carolinian for help...
