Is anyone aware of any photos taken by Young and Collins during the GT-10 mission of the interior of the capsule or of the other crew member? I have had some difficulty seeking such photos from this flight.

You have also a few seconds b/w footage showing both Young and Collins inside Gemini 10 on the "In the Shadow of the Moon" DVD.

Here are two brief but interesting Gemini 10 onboard video clips from footagevault. Both Young and Collins can be seen inside the Gemini spacecraft. The footage is black and white.

Thanks for sharing the FootageVault links. After watching the video I want to pass along my admiration to Cooper/Conrad for spending eight days and Borman/Lovell 14 days in such tight quarters!

Just what I was thinking, the books always say that the Gemini spacecraft had a larger cockpit than Mercury for the astronauts but that footage shows just how cramped the conditions were.

I've never seen that film clip before, is it on the Spacecraft Films DVD for Gemini 10?

Has anyone seen any other Gemini onboard black and white footage?

There are some B&W photos of Frank Borman inside Gemini 7, which look like 16mm frames. I have always wondered where these came from. Apparently there is more film than on the Spacecraft Films DVD set.

Habitable volumes:
  • Mercury spacecraft - 36 cubic feet (1.02 cubic meters)
  • Gemini spacecraft - 55 cubic feet (1.56 cubic meters)
So the Gemini spacecraft had less room per person than the Mercury spacecraft, it would seem.

There was some in-cabin 16mm film footage taken onboard the Gemini 12 spacecraft. Here is a description of the scenes.
