I'm looking for the markings for the HUP-2 that ferried Glenn from the USS Noa
to the USS Randolph, per this photo.

I would guess that the helo was from the Randolph, not the Noa. If it was on the Noa, there would have been no reason for Glenn to board via a sling -- he could've gotten on before it took off.

Googling, etc, didn't yield any info that I could find, other than the JSC image
above. Can anyone help? Thanks!

From what I've been able to tell (and if I'm mistaken, anyone, please step in), the helicopter in question would have belonged to the "Fleet Angels" of HU-2, Detachment 36. They were deployed aboard Randolph in early 1962.

If you do a Google Images search with variation of "HU-2" and "HUP-2," you'll find some representative pictures of how the aircraft were marked. I haven't found that specific aircraft, but it'll get you a little closer, I hope.

Good luck!
