Does anyone have a complete or partial listing of contractors that contributed to Apollo?
I am trying to find a list of the contractors that contributed to Apollo (spacecraft hardware, materials/instruments, software). I know there must be hundreds - maybe thousands of companies that had some role but I have had a hard time trying to find any kind of consolidated list. Even a list of the top 50 to 100 would be interesting. I have several books that refer to the various contractors and their roles but nothing that contains a consolidated list of them.

You might try contacting the Space Walk of Fame Foundation in Titusville, FL. Their misson is to recognize and remember all of the "space workers" who made our accomplishments possible.

Stages to Saturn has an appendix listing contractors for the launch vehicle.
Chariots for Apollo breaks down the CSM contractors.
Frank Pullo produced a listing of LM Contractors here.

I recall a list of contractors in the back of the Apollo Spacecraft and Saturn News Reference Books.

Marion Power Shovel Company in Marion, Ohio made the crawler transporter that was used for Apollo move from VAB to the pad.
