Hello all,

I was curious if anyone out there knows the approx. diameter of the docking tube that sticks out of the top of a CM? I have been able to track down nearly every measurement on the craft except that one.

30" comes to mind for the docking tunnel.

The CM was 32 inches but the docking drogue probe was 31.454 inches and made contact with a 'shelf/lip' inside the LM hatch - the two then be 'drawn together' and then seals making the final pressure tight connection.

The diameter of the LM docking hatch was 32 inches - not to be confused with the LM hatch door which was 'square' and also 32 inches each side.
