Eleven years ago 28 year old Jimmy Pemberton was helping with a home repair job. A garage belonging to the late NASA Engineer Hans Weunscher was being cleaned out, and the contents thrown away. "You load this stuff into a truck to haul it off, cause we got to clean this house up, and (I) just happened to notice some of it looked like blueprints, and just opened it up and it happened to be Saturn 5," says Jimmy Pemberton. He kept the blueprints, in fact he stored them at his fathers house, but just this past week he was reminded of the project to save the Saturn 5, and Jimmy decided now was the time to give the material to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. http://www.whnt19.com/Global/story.asp?S=1478170&nav=1VPtITQ3 |

If you just donated them this year, they should be written off against this years taxes, not the taxes you are working on now (2003 taxes). |

To have documented value for the IRS, you probably should have had them appraised before you donated them... |
