I acquired the following book and was curious of its value: "Space Ship X-15" by Irwin Stambler. The book is signed by: - Joe Walker
- Neil Armstrong
- Robert Rushworth
- John McKay
- Forrest Petersen
- Robert White
- Dick Day (engineer)
- Roger Barnicki (Life Support)
I have a signed letter from the individual that acquired all the signatures as well as their background history to show authenticity. |

It is almost impossible to give it a value based on your description alone. Are the signatures all on the frontispiece; are they in the same or different pen/inks; what state is the book in, etc.?If all the signatures pass muster from an acknowledged authenticator such as Steve Zarelli, and all are clearly displayed on white paper on the same page which is tied into the book (such as the title page), and the book is entire, unfoxed, and in very good condition (and with dustjacket), I am reasonably certain it would fetch more than $5000 in auction on a good day. |

Thanks for the additional info. The book is in excellent condition with dust jacket and all signatures are on pages throughout the book next to, or across, a photo of the specific person. All signatures are clean and signed in blue marker. |

I would suggest then that your next step would be to obtain an email opinion on a couple of the signatures. Personally speaking I would select the Armstrong and Walker or Rushworth signatures and send them off to Steve Zarelli. (It costs less than you think, and I have no commercial interest in telling you this). If both come back positive, then I think you are onto a winner, value wise. |
