So, I picked this up many years ago and I have it listed in my collection as "questionable authenticity" solely because at that time I didn't keep any records of where I purchased items from. It's also a bit of an odd item. But the truth is, I have no hard evidence that it isn't real either.
I've also never seen a "Virgil I. Grissom" autopen (all I have seen are signed "Gus Grisson").
The signature appears to have been signed on a notecard or some kind of blank piece of paper and then attached to a Liberty Bell 7 launch cover.
I'd be curious to see what the experts here think of this signature.

Looks like an authentic signature to me.

You might find this Grissom Signature Study helpful. Your signature looks good if it's an actual signature and not a print of some kind.

I'd never buy that because I don't like cut-outs per se... but that's obviously just a personal preference.
On the point at hand though. I think the signature looks a little 'blocky,' whether because it's a print or an autopen or because it's written with a felt-tip I don't know. It's easy to find out however; as the last post suggested - have Steve Zarelli give you a definitive opinion.
