Has anyone been cut off by a seller on eBay? I have been trying to purchase some space covers from a particular seller. When I try to put an item in a cart I get a message about not meeting the seller's requirements. I purchased a $5 cover from this seller. I never received it and asked for a refund which I did receive. I have had no other interaction with this seller and have reached out to them multiple times for an explanation and have gotten no answers. I also reached out to eBay getting only a message that a seller can block a buyer for any reason. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I have no idea why I would be blocked. I guess it will be their loss as there are a bunch of covers I would like to purchase. |

Yes, it's happened to me. The seller didn't like the company I kept at the time, friends who accused him of selling repro space patches and calling them originals. They were right and he was wrong. He blocked me. |

Yes Eddie. I was blocked by a seller for getting a refund on an item that didn't arrive. I had merely enquired of eBay where the item was because it was being sent through eBay Delivery services and all tracking had ceased a month previously at Carol Stream with the ominous tracking note "scanned into a sack."Instead of launching an enquiry into where the item was via eBay Delivery Services, eBay Customer Services instead refunded me and took the money from the seller's account. He blocked me, but it wasn't obvious to me that had happened until the item actually turned up two weeks after I'd been refunded - so I tried to message the seller to repay the refund — which is when I discovered I'd been blocked because I couldn't send him any messages. I contacted eBay but they were no help. So I left negative feedback on the item with an explanation of what had happened and asking him (the seller) to contact me/unblock me. He requested that I amend the negative feedback, which I did. He unblocked me. I repaid his refund and explained what had happened. He is now one of my main sources of good launch covers. All's well, but I've stopped buying from sellers who insist on using eBay International delivery services as they are terrible. eBay should stick to online auction services and leave delivery services to the grown ups. |

I have been blocked by a seller just for asking a question about an item. Funny thing is that previously I had bought another item from him, and we had both given each other positive reviews after the sale.So as they say, go figure! |

Some sellers have eBay as their primary source of income and they live and die by their feedback scores. I know a couple of sellers like that who ban EVERYONE that doesn't give them all the highest marks across the board or refuse to leave feedback at all. |

If eBay is their primary source of income then they should concentrate on satisfying the buyers. Any seller who blocks a buyer because he left four five stars and one four star on a purchase is an idiot of the first order. |
