Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like someone paid $1525 for printed Apollo 8 crew signatures?
From the estate of a man who worked at Goddard Space Center is this autographed photograph.

Apollo 8 crew Frank Borman, James Lovell and William Anders. Mission from 12/21-27, 1968. First manned space flight that orbited the moon. Photograph is the first ever captured Earthrise.

In black felt tip pen Apollo 8 and 3 signatures. Entire piece measures 10 5/8 by 14 inches. One corner has a slight bend.

Sad to see, and sorry for the buyer.

I’ll admit to the same error on an identical Apollo 8 signed photo pre-print some 12 years ago. Fortunately it only set me back about $50 to $75 as I recall and well worth it for the lessons learned. Ended up giving it to a friend who enjoyed it for what it was.

With the help of time, learning, cS, Steve Z, and others, I’ve not repeated the mistake elsewhere (at least not yet!).

Fortunately, I think, the seller is forthcoming and it could be returned. That's what she stated to me when I expressed my opinion/concern.

I noticed the seller offered a 30 day return which is good, but the purchaser might not find out for months or even years that it is not really a true signed piece.
