I'm interested in a current eBay auction, on offer is a complete Kniga cover set with six accompanied COAs.The covers look good but my question is about the COAs. They appear to come from Kniga but are written in English. Can anybody shed some light on the COAs? |

Interesting COAs. They are not the COAs that were issued with original covers. They are also dated 1988 well after the original release dates for the covers. It looks to be a situation that Kniga was asked to verify that the covers were genuine because the original COA was lost. The original COAs were typed on thin paper and offered a minimal amount of information. |

Thanks Paul, yes.I couldn't see the date, sorry. Your theory sounds good. The only COA for the Kniga cover set was a single page for the whole set written in Russian I think. |

Well, it's a no brainer to anyone looking for a authentic set of the first man in orbit, first man EVA, first woman etc. This piece of memorabilia is so famous that, for once, a COA, even the original Russian, is not mandatory in my opinion. Like many collectors, I own one of these Kniga set of six. (I have no connection with the seller).
