Among a number of NASA items I have inherited is this scarf. It includes the certificate pictured as well. It looks like it was produced from a photomicrograph from a lunar sample, and was likely given to our family member along with the other commemorative items we have.
I am interested in selling this piece and was curious if anyone might know anything about it.

One of these scarves was auctioned by the former Aurora auction house in 2006 for $36. They described it as follows:
(20x20") The pattern on this multi colored scarf is a reproduction of a photomicrograph of a cross section of basalt from one of the lunar samples returned to earth by Apollo 11.

Oh, excellent. That is the first I had seen of it online. I'm getting ready to list that and some other items on eBay, so this helps quite a bit.
