I know this is a bit off-topic but... I've been cleaning out our library and have about 40 National Geographic mags from 1990-1995 and a few dozen more contemporary issues. I hate to just re-cycle them in the trash. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get them to someone or someplace that can use them? Thanks!

Call this place. They have a collection of books and old National Geographic magazines they give away for free for the taking.
I'm sure they'd take them.

Thanks for the idea ejectr, but shipping them to CT could be pricey.
I found a local used bookstore that will take them. If they don't think they can sell them, they will donate them to one of several organizations they are associated with.
