I have a rare first edition copy of "We Seven" signed by all seven Mercury astronauts. Now that I have you excited, six are hand signed and Schirra is autopen. It was purchased from the estate of NASA Gemini Project Manager. I'm curious what value the community would put on such a item.

Thanks in advance for your comments. — James

Wonder why and how Wally Schirra was autopenned and why a real Schirra was not tried for a completion, as he was one of the easy guys to get...

I'd guess that the NASA manager didn't realize it was an autopen, and it was purchased from his estate sometime after Schirra died in 2007.
