I've looked on eBay and other auctions but nothing there so any ideas on value for:
  • Walt Cunningham signed (on the flag) Apollo 7 flown U.S. flag in a framed presentation including crew signed cover.

  • Paul Weitz presentation signed and text (not personalised) STS-6 Challenger maiden flight flown US flag.

  • STS-26 NASA flown flag presentation.
All framed to archival standard including UV and non-reflective glass. Thanks for any help.

Walt Cunningham sells flown flags from Apollo 7 on his website for $1635.

These are somewhat specific request. Particularly the STS-6 flown flag. That's a tough one to find.

High grade preservation framing will add at least $200-300. Mediocre framing, possible $150-200.

STS-26 and Apollo 7 are much easier to find. Apollo 7 you can get directly from Walt Cunningham. STS-26 tends to pop up on auctions from time to time anywhere from $300-600 depending on condition, and if it has other flown items with it (for example, I have two from TDRS that include flown patches).

That's helpful — thanks. If anyone has thoughts on the STS-6 value that would be helpful. I'll look to post the shuttle ones on Buy, Sell, Trade in the next week.

Here's a couple of shots of the STS-6 - hopefully it will give a better idea. Still looking for an approximate value prior to sale.

I would guess $350-400. Maybe. STS-3 flags go for around $275. A Paul Weitz flown STS-6 flag from his collection sold at auction for around $500 (RR). So the seller got around $380 for it.

All times are CT (US)
