Just seen this awful Apollo 11 item whilst trawling online auctions in UK. Even with my limited knowledge I can't believe an auction house could sell this as a signed item.

Ruined a red-serial numbered glossy.

Obviously all done in the same hand. I love how the Collins and Aldrin both have the same tail at the end. Hopefully, the red-serial is a fake too and that wasn't ruined.

I have sent an email to the auction house suggesting that they compare the signatures to known examples before putting something like this up for sale.

They even added an inscription and dedicated it to an individual to make it seem more authentic... that is very sneaky.

First one I've seen where Neil's last name was an algebraic equation (j=7g).

It also looks like they tried to change Aldrin's first name to "Bugsy". I don't know what they were thinking with "Mchal" for Collins.

Yes, I also thought of contacting the auction house, never even consider buying anything from that "house" ever.

Still can salvage the glossy, though not for any price.

All times are CT (US)
