I have a moonrise poster which has circa 20 Apollo astronaut signatures on it. and whilst they are dedicated to me by name it has cost a fair few thousands and would cost the same again to replace. My house insurance is asking for a valuation before it would be covered.
Can anyone in the UK suggest how/where to get a valuation or what others have done in the same position or which insurance companies cover such personal "space" items? I could just add up the cost of signatures, airfares, etc. but I suspect the insurance company would not accept this. Many thanks.

How about sending a scan to a couple of auction houses? I'm sure Donnis Willis at Lunar Legacies would be able to give you an estimate for example.
