Can anyone tell me if this autrograph is an autopen? I tried to do a little research but I can't tell from the examples I have found. I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

I would say that it's not an actual signature but looks like a stamp or pre print. I don't know if he had an autopen. Too jerky in the movements to be real. That's just my opinion.
Nice cover, though.

I fully agree: This signature lookes neither like hand-written nor like autopen.
By the side: Wernher von Braun wrote his signatures so exact that hand-written signatures might be misinterpreted as autopens.

Also not sure about an autopen device but he definitely had an autograph stamp, which is for sale on eBay for a mere $10 grand. (Item #221398794223). Wish some honest collector would pick this up and keep it from be misused.

If it helps, examples of von Braun's autopen can be seen here.

Thanks all for the replies.
What I think is interesting is I can feel the signature if I run my finger across it. Also it smudges very easily. I don't think it's preprinted on the cover. Maybe a rubber stamp signature.
Anyone have any idea what the value of this cover might be?
