I was hoping to find a bit of information on this item, as well as how much it is worth. It is currently in my collection and to my knowledge Buzz signed 1,969 of them for an art gallery, which had nationwide stores. I do not have any COA with it however, feel confident it is the real deal.

I am thinking of selling it but with seeing prices as much as $995 and low as $325 I am a little stumped... any help would be greatly appreciated!

I sold one of these a couple years ago for around $300-350. I would expect to get around that for it-maybe even less if you actually want to sell it reasonably quickly. The people asking $999 are probably planning on selling this for the rest of their lives. It's certainly authentic though.

I've seen this one on eBay for as low as $250 within the past year. Seems to have been relisted several times.

There's a story behind this poster, as I recall. Pretty sure this was a commercial signing between Aldrin and Paul Goldin, President of the Scoreboard inc. (lots of controversy about this dude...). Golden was mostly a sports guy, but he also did a signing of Man's Greatest Adventure with Shepard in the mid 1970s. As for the Aldrin poster, as I recall there were 1969 signed editions, each issued with a COA from Goldin.

Does this ring any bells for any other cSers?

All times are CT (US)
