I'm sure everyone has been in this position: Postal Carrier delivers a long sought photo and on the outside the package looks a little beaten up despite all the "fragile" and "do not bend" warnings sharpied across it. Upon opening, confirmation of the damage fears and a dinged corner or two.
Having been there too often I had it happen again with an inscribed Ron Evans litho which had a preexisting condition of a very mild crease and now two additional corner dings one pretty bad. It's not worth returning but the seller is asking if I'd like a partial refund.
Having never sold anything what is a fair $% value for that additional damage? Since it was not mint to begin with I guess it comes down to how less likely someone would be to purchase now with the additional damage? Thanks.

The inscribed Evans lithos I've seen usually sell in the $100-$150 range. I would say $25-$50 would be pretty fair.
