I just bought a 15x50 canvas print from Moonpans of Gene Cernan on the Moon to get signed at ASF and I must say, it is the greatest looking photo print I've ever seen. I'm sure many people have seen their panaramas but these canvas prints take it to a whole other level. It's absolutely unbelievable. They're not cheap but it is large and in charge. I can say without question that I will have the nicest signed Gene Cernan photo in the world. If you like having the best I strongly recommend buying one. Thanks Mike at Moonpans! |

Not to argue with you or anything, but I have some very nice Cernan autographs. He's very nice and accommodating. Best of all he'll write whatever you want.As for the price of your canvas print. Yes a canvas print does cost more, but when you factor in framing costs of a conventional paper print, a canvas print is actually much cheaper. Of course you don't have the protection a frame affords your photo and the accompanying autograph, but as long as you treat it right, it will last a lifetime or two. |

That was my thought on it too. Framing a panarama decently costs quite abit($200 range). This is all ready to put on the wall if you're careful with it. These aren't really mailable but if you're seeing the Astronaut in person and are willing to carry a big item, it's definitely worth it. I love it.Also not to get off subject but Cernans autograph policy also makes this possible. I really like that his policy seems to be one of the more reality based. He's set a decent price but gives people some value by writing what you want and having no completion fee. He prices it as a commodity but doesn't treat it like it's the end of the world or price it as such. He's also absolutely great to deal with in person. |

Jason, I can't comment on the Moonpans canvases but just a word of caution. I bought this composite canvas (not from Mike) and had Cernan sign it. He was a bit reluctant because he was worried about how well he could sign on the textured surface. The canvas does absorb some of the ink (a friend's canvass caused the ink to fade dramatically). To avoid disappointment I'd suggest asking Mike for his advice regarding pen choice and endurance. |

Thanks for the advice. I will try a sample pen stroke on the side/back to make sure it comes out alright. |
