billewald Member Posts: 89 From: Stafford, VA, USA Registered: Jan 2012	posted 10-15-2014 06:38 PM I have a number of what I would describe as animated transparencies or animation cells. I believe that these items are vintage and made in preparation to the Apollo moon landings. Some are of the lunar module. I have a total of five. Does anyone know what their purpose was? Thank you!

I thought I would share my findings. Thank you. This detailed piece of art is an animation cell hand drawn by NASA artists during the Apollo era for use by the networks during televised coverage of the Apollo space flights to portray animated visuals of the Lunar Module (LM) in flight.
