Compare these Bassett "autographs" from the same seller... (ended June 2nd): 121349853872 with this one currently offered... 121411205681.

Except for a very slight change in the angle of the signature they are identical. As per the description, the seller offers a full refund if any autographed is determined to not be genuine so I first thought the high bidder returned it and the seller posted it again. However, if you compare the zoomed-in pics side by side you will find the angle of the signatures differs slightly. Forgeries or autopens? I haven't seen "CA Bassett" until these two auctions.

If you look closely at the Elliot See photo the same seller has on offer, you can easily see where someone keeps lifting the pen off the litho during the "signing" before making the next stroke Someone got a real stinker with the supposed Charlie Bassett signed photo.

I saw these two items (Bassett and See) and they looked wrong. It looks like someone was drawing them. Very shaky. Not right at all.

All times are CT (US)
