For those who may be interested and haven't yet seen, a heads-up...

The documents, memos and other NASA ephemera that belonged to Apollo flight controller John Cooper is now being listed on eBay by his family. The seller, Cooper's niece, writes:

The material we have dates from ca. 1966 to 1972, so everything is at least 40 years old. There is a mixture of photos, manuals, draft manuals, Lunar Rover materials, tools, memos, maps, meeting notes, geology materials, and other ephemera including newspaper clippings from his files. I'm starting with the manuals and will begin listing other items and photos soon. All of the material, except some of the maps and photos, has some wear, as everything was actively used and handled; and many items have notes made by my uncle and in some cases other NASA employees. Looking at the names written on the items, and the names in the distribution lists, is a trip down memory lane for anyone who grew up in the Space Program. He worked for Gene Kranz during most of his NASA career, so his name appears on many of the memos.
The sales are timed to end on Sunday nights, with new listings following the next week. You can see the completed listings here.

The seller is including with each item a customized Letter of Provenance, with a photo and description of the item and a brief bio of Cooper. The letter will be signed and dated by her mother, Cooper's sister, attesting that the item is from the collection of material that belonged to him.

All times are CT (US)
