I'm new to this hobby. What are your thoughts on the Proach Models? I was looking at some of the space shuttle models they have. From what I can see in the pictures, the paint colors on these don't seem quite accurate. Especially on the external tank. This is my own personal opinion now. Thanks in advance. |

I have purchased several models by Nick Proach (Mercury, Gemini and Apollo). Without a doubt, these are the most accurate and detailed models. Top quality. I'm sure any Space Shuttle model would be built mission specific if requested. |

I own eleven models from Nick. Some production and some custom models. His models are good enough for NASA, they are good enough for me. I find his work top quality and his service excellent. Nick is on line to build a N-1 for me this year. |

Ooooh. Very interesting about the N1. What scale is it going to be? Always fancied a large 1/72nd or so model of the N1 L3. There is a beauty in one of the Russian museums - Moscow I think - that must be 12 foot tall. Always wondered who made it. |

I have had a relationship with Nick for many years now. I own many Proach Models and can say they are all extremely high quality. My favorite is my eight foot tall Saturn V. His prices have had to go up a bit lately, however they are worth it. Plus he is a genuinely nice guy who is easy to work with. |

Those models are absolutely breath taking! Too bad I just had to buy a car, and can't afford any for years. Has he ever produced them in a less costly kit form? |

I just received my first Nick Proach model yesterday. It is the 1/24 scale Gemini capsule. I was very impressed with the model. In my humble opinion it is gorgeous. It is a solid cast resin model and weighs approximately 2 lbs. I have posted pictures on my website. When ordering — be patient as he is pretty busy with big orders and the small orders do tend to get pushed down the priority scale, which is understandable in business. My order was 10 months to delivery. Knowing that upfront would have helped with my anxiety Im sure. I have no problems recommending Nick Proach for your custom space models. |

I have a Proach Models 1/48 scale Gemini-Titan II rocket that is just amazing in detail and construction. I can highly recommend! |
