Apart from the ugly "stuck in" signed cards, this could have done with some closer scrutiny by "Global Authentics". What a shame, given the authentic flatsigned signatures.

Given various things I've seen them "authenticate" outside the space market (mainly comic art), I have absolutely no confidence in their COA's. One of the most liberal authenticators I've run into. I think they are getting greedy here in plumping up the package. |

Apart from the fact that the Armstrong is ridiculously bad and its "authenticated" by the worst company humanly possible except for Stat Authentic, arent the Young, Mattingly and Swigert signatures autopens?

Yes. It is a combination of real, autopen and fake (Armstrong). I suspect someone has "honestly" assembled these, thinking they were good and the "authenticator" has just not bothered to check. Inexcusable when you compare what authenticators get paid to the cost of a copy of Relics of the Space Race or even a (free) check of Chris Spain's website! |
