I have been in touch with a Japanese company that sells Japanese space goods. Originally, JAXA Goods only sold in Japan. However, they advised me some months ago they would build an online store for the rest of us.

Check out JAXA Goods for the new store which is now open. The original site has some very interesting items. The new site has some of those and will likely grow. It is not cheap, but where else will you find Japanese space stuff?

Shipping is a little painful, but I'm glad we have the opportunity to buy it.

I would also like to thank David Williams for his lobbying of these folks too. He had a contact in Japan working on them as well.

It sounds like it is not the easiest of web transactions to get through...

...the Paypal login page showed in Japanese! I was stymied until I noticed a Japanese/English 'switch' in the upper right corner of the page, after that then things went smoothly. The only other 'gotcha' you'd need to watch for is that you'll have to make two separate transactions; one for the merchandise, and the other for shipping costs.

A very efficient organisation. One week from date of ordering to delivery in UK.

Once the Paypal part has been figured out, its a very straightforward ordering process.Thoroughly recommended.

All times are CT (US)
