hoorenz Member Posts: 1031 From: The Netherlands Registered: Jan 2003	posted 01-12-2010 02:37 PM A fake TMA-17 patch has been spotted on eBay, this one is a little hard to detect. Some clues: The real patch has silver metalic thread in some places; ISS too large; Letters in real patch are not connected by single stitches; Japanese flag has too large red circle. The same seller also has a fake version of Tim's X-15 patch and a fake version of Detlev's Astrolab patch.

I have asked the seller and he told me that the X-15 patches are from the Dryden Flight Research Center visitor service.
