kasher New Member Posts: 2 From: plantersville tx USA Registered: Mar 2008	posted 03-11-2008 01:25 PM I am researching a Robbins medallion, Apollo 11 but its not one of the 300,000 from New Orleans - this one is encased and is one of 68 given out at a party in Seawolf Park, TX by astronauts to friends of the space program. I'm trying to find out what it is worth.

There were literally hundreds of different commemorative medallions issued for Apollo 11. It would be very helpful if you could share a scan or photo of yours, both its front and back.
kasher New Member Posts: 2 From: plantersville tx USA Registered: Mar 2008	posted 03-14-2008 07:46 AM You're right. I have since discovered it is a Barco Mint Manned Flight Awareness Medal. A Mjr General McDonald passed out the 68 encapsulated coins at the reception I mentioned before.
