With Spacefest coming to my town of Phoenix this August, what is/are the BEST item to get autographed by Buzz Aldrin? I have the US Historical Society 25th Anniversary Apollo 11 Buzz Aldrin statue, but I'm looking for something else. Any recommendations? Thanks! |

Wow, that really depends on what YOU like. Photos are probably the most popular items by far. A nice 8x10 or 16x20 signed photo always makes for a great display item. (I'm sure there will be a nice selection of photos there to choose from.) |

You can't go wrong with the classic 8 X 10 White Space Suit photo of Buzz! |

Rob is right about that WSS photo. It's a classic! I don't collect autographs but I had once thought about getting him to autograph my Dragon figure of him or the band on my Omega Speedmaster. He has the distinction of being the first person to wear a watch on the Moon. I think Neil left his in the LEM.Scott |

I had my first "exposure" to Mike's "Moonpans" at Autographica, my first trip over. These are so very well done, I cannot say enough about them.We liked them so much we sold them at our show in 2004 and they did very well. And, he's only gotten better since! Looking forward to seeing you again in Phoenix Mike! And to meeting you too Ace! Al |

Whatever you decide to have signed by Aldrin.... make sure you get a signed copy of the clasic surface/visor photo. Arguably one of the greatest and most evocative pictures from the entire space program.Regards, Rick |

Yeah, that picture is one of the greats. I will probably limit myself to 1 autograph from Aldrin considering he's charging $175 plus another $30(?) for inscription. I'm leaning towards Mike's panoramic pic, then I'll have it matted and framed. Should look great in my loft! Have you guys heard about the 2007 Topps baseball Co-Signers autographed baseball cards with the astronauts? Great items and they include Buzz on a single signed and double signed card with Alex Rodriguez. There are 10 Astronauts in the single set-Aldrin,Cunningham,Schirra,Crippen,Duke,Worden,Mitchell,Haise,Richard Gordon and Carpenter. |

I think the Apollo 11 photos are great- the moonpans are fabulous. However, I must say that the Gemini missions are an under rated pat of the space program. Aldrin's work there is amongst the most important contributions that any astronaut has made. Also, getting a Lovell and Aldrin signed item is still a crew completion that is obtainable. Just my 2 cents.. Tahir |
