I was looking for a copy of Cernan's "Last Man..." book to send to Mr. Cernan to have signed. When I was looking on halfbay I saw a copy that said signed since it was only 5 bucks I took a chance and this is what I got back. It is on a bookplate Hope the pic comes through. Can this be real???? I would love any info on this if it is out there. If it isnt no loss i will send it to Mr. Cernan it only cost me 9 bucks with shipping. Thanks all for the help!!!! The book plate is dated.....
Jim

Looks real to me, Jim. Perhaps he signed a number of bookplates for a convention or a speaking engagement. Nice find! Rob

I've found several books like that in used bookstores. Several of the John Glenn books with bookplates. I kept one for my collection and have sold others on Ebay. But the bookplates are quite a bit less in value than the actual signed book I've found. Still a neat find!
I always find myself peeking at the first few pages of books at used bookstores. Every now and then I find a treasure!
