Regarding Astronaut autographs, back in 1969 I took four photographs from off of my television set and had them enlarged to 8.5 x 6.5 and sent them to the Manned Spacecraft centre in Houston, Texas and asked them if they could have them autographed by the returning Astronauts. After about two months they returned all four photographs and all four are autographed by the Astronauts, these are not done in "Autopen" I would be interested to know what they may be worth and how to go about selling them. I can email a copy if any one is interested. |

The value depends on who signed the photos. Who signed them? |

Hi Denem, they were all signed by Armstrong, Aldrin & Collins, Ive compared their signatures with known examples and there not "Autopen" you can see the ink sheen. |

Trev, if you have a photo with the 3 authentic signatures of armstrong, aldrin, and collins on them, it would probably be worth about 750$ to 2000$. if the photos are signed individually, then an armstrong would probably go for 450 to 750 alone. the aldrin would go for around 100 and the collins would go for around 300. these are "ballpark" estimates...not exacts! hope this helps! if you need further advice, just let me know! dennis |

The price would also depend on the quality of the support the autographs are on. Photos taken from the TV screen somehow sounds like lotsa dots, shades, and unclear images to me. In other words: how do they look like?------------------ Jürgen P Esders Berlin, Germany http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astroaddies |

Hi Trev,I've seen the scans of the 4 items and they are not signed by the Apollo 11 crew. Don't know quite who signed them but they are definitely forgeries, and very poor ones. Sorry. Scott |
