I have a group of documents that I can't quite define...in other words, I'm not really sure what it was for, or it's market value. Perhaps some of you "in the know" can assist. The first page is a flight order dated 22 Sept 1969, effective 29 Sept, with the mission starting from Andrews AFB (Wash., DC), to "Proceed as Directed", security clearance "Top Secret". There is a listing of 18 names of Air Force personnel, signed by Lester C. McClelland, Major, USAF (the sig. on this document is a copy.) The next page is a passenger manifest, totaling 24 names. The top-6 names are that of the AP11 crew and their wives, the remainder are various officials from the WH, NASA, ISIAa dn Dept. of State. (I did do a search on one name on the list, Julian Scheer, who was then head of NASA's public information department.) The next four pages is a flight itinerary, filled out on both sides of each page. The trip begins in Wash., DC on 29 September. This trip list jumps around the world...here's the order...Houston, Mexico City, Bogota (Columbia), Buenos Aires, Rio (Brazil), Canary Islands, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Oslo, Bonn (Germany), London, Rome, Belgrade, Turkey, Congo, Tehran, Bombay, Dacca (Pakistan), Bangkok, Perth (Australia), Guam, Seoul, Tokyo, and finally Anchorage (Alaska)[there was Hawaii and one other listing on the order that were crossed out, with Anchorage written in by hand). This trip itinerary also has columns of info typed in for dates, times, time factor, local times/date, distances to fly, wind factor, flight times and ground times for each stop. The final document is a General Declaration of US Customs. It was made for the arrival of this flight back on US soil in Anchorage, giving the flight owner as the USAF, departing from Tokyo, arriving 5 Nov. 1969, and having zero passengers embarking/ disembarking, and 28 passengers "through on same flight". There are official customs stamps, and ball-point signatures of 2 different customs officials. I am making an assumption that this is the manifest paperwork of the AP11 round-the-world extraveganza, upon their return to earth, and after their required incubation period. I had acquired this from the estate of Fred Durant, who lived near Wash., DC, and was one of the top-personnel at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Because of where I had received this packet of documents, I'm very confident that this is official paperwork, and not a common souvenier. If anyone with an educated guess can help me in determining it's true authenticity and value, it'd be truly appreciated. Thanks.
