I'm surprised by the wording of the letter. I have the exact letter written to another person. The one I have however is in perfect condition and it has the original envelope. I thought the wording was too specific to be a form letter. By the way, it is not for sale. I purchased it from the lady who wrote to him a few years ago for $40.

Hello Everybody, Are you trying to tell us .....this is a Mass Produced letter signed by Neil Armstrong........or is this letter a one of a kind authentic letter??? Mike

I think this letter was stored in his secretary's IBM typewriter and reproduced at the touch of a button, but signed by Armstrong authentically. I also have the exact same letter in my collection. Dean
