HelloWhat do you think aout this Armstrong's autograph ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=416&item=3921995688&rd=1 Seems to be Autopen... The seller has no Certificate of Authenticity, but just a copy of letter of Armstrong Office Desk who have sending with ''Autograph Litho''. I have receive by the Past similar letter with Autopen. 41£ or $75 seems much money for an Autopen Olivier |

Just my opinion, but this one looks completely genuine to me.

Atypical... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29223&item=6914523384&rd=1 Niel Armstrong...That one has got to be fake since I doubt Neil would misspell his own name. Steve |

Coorect Steve, book came on the market in 1999 or 2000, so no chance Neil Armstrong was signing items that time ! Nice trick of the "Fakers" to use Private auction so nobody can warn the 'stupid' biddes ! |

I noticed something different while checking out the feedback of one of these sellers. People now have the option of keeping their feedback private. I clicked on "read sellers feedback" and while it does show the number of negative ratings you can not read any of the feedbacks. Needless to say I would not bid on an item from someone that does that. Mike |

Mike, Actually eBay members have been able to keep their feedback private for many years, but as you mention it looks very very bad and so it is rarely done. |

Scott,I did not know that. This must have been the first time I checked on someone that had blocked it. I agree that it sends a loud message that someone needs to be carefull. Mike |
