Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I don't see what's wrong with them. Will say however that I didn't know the Irwin litho was ever produced with anything but an English preprinted inscription....------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

In 1982 or 83 Irwin went to Switzerland for a conference. He sold his usual litho, with his real signature and the usual preprint text that we all know. Since in Switzerland he have different official languages (not english as you can see by reading me...) he provided both the English AND that German text, as sold in this (indeed genuine) Ebay sample. Price was five Swiss francs, around 2$ of that time... I took three and gave two to friends... |

In what way do they smell? All litho's have a "smell" to them... its the chemicals used in the printing process.. are you insinuating they are fake? The Scott and Irwin signatures are comparable to ones I have in my collection and the Gene-o looks good to me. Compare them with signatures on http://www.farthestreaches.com - Derek |
