I worked in a gourmet restaurant not far from Charlevoix, MI where Mr. Armstrong had a summer home. We had a small private room and he normally came with 8-12 people. I worked that dining room. I was told by management that he was a very private person and to be very respectful.

Well, after a couple of visits I came to know him fairly well and I asked his wife if I could get an autograph. She said, "Not tonight, but before summer is over I promise."

Well, one evening before they left she said, "Get something for Neil to sign." So I ran downstairs and grabbed our card. And the rest is history.
