Please consider bidding generously in a benefit auction for those impacted by the devastating July floods in the Texas Hill Country.100% of proceeds will go to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund and Travis County Cares Flood relief. Rules Auction closes at 11:00 PM US Central Time on Sunday August 3, 2025. Email me with your bid(s) including item number(s). I will update this listing daily at 10:30PM CDT with any bids until the auction closes. Winning bids will include US domestic shipping. Thank you!
- Mercury MA-7 (Scott Carpenter) Flown Heat Shield presentation produced by NASA. From the estate of a NASA Public Affairs Officer (PAO). ~1" x1/2" heat shield block on a 3"x 3.7 wood base with plaque.
- Unattributed Mercury Flown Heat Shield block, also from the estate of a NASA PAO. ~1" x 1" x 1"
- Apollo 11 Viewing pass with original plastic clip-on holder. Light blue-grey variant. Fine condition.
- Apollo 15 crew-signed insurance cover with launch day cancellation. Includes informational insert. Light toning and minor fade to signatures but still looks great.
- Apollo 16 Training-used CM panel "SPS Burn" double-sided cue card. Annotated and signed in pen by Fred Haise, backup commander for Apollo 16. (ex SpaceSource).
- Apollo 13 "Apollo / Saturn Temporary Mission Decal" badge
- Large 20" x 14" vintage NASA "Worm Logo" Sticker. Never used with original backing paper.
- Postal Plaque commemorating Neil Armstrong's postmark during the Apollo 11 mission. ~`12" tall walnut base with three heavily-etched metal sub-plaques. Very well made but there are factual errors noted on the center plaque - see this cS thread for details. Still, a nice item for the space philatelist on the 250th anniversary of the USPS.
- Hardware lot:
(a) LM plumbing piece with original MSC cleaning tags dated October 1970; ex-RR Auction. (b) Two inline particulate filters with original Integrity seals. Unknown use and possibly ground support equipment but beautifully made. - North American Aviation Temperature Sensor Assembly: Flat temperature transducer from RfD with lengthy cable spool. Dated Jan 7, 1970 with numerous NASA inspection stickers. Presumed usage was either Apollo Command Module, Service Module, or possibly both, but unknown.
- Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) recovery beacon antenna. ~ 14" x 2.5" with stamped 10400-0184-101 part number. Flown status unknown.
- NASA vintage LM Handle with Care and Critical Space Item stickers. Almost like new.

A heartfelt thank you to all the bidders and particularly the auction winners. All funds received, packages are sent, and because of your generosity $2926 was raised to help those in need. I've bumped the total just a bit (I like nice round numbers) so $3K in auction proceeds has now been split and contributed equally to the two relief efforts. | |
