This book has been years in the making and Farthest Reaches LLC is very pleased to be offering harcover copies that are hand signed (in the book) by Gene himself who has also graciously offered to add, "Flight".

This announcement is so hot off the press that it's not yet been posted to my own site at Farthest Reaches or barely anywhere else for that matter.

I expect that Gene, because of his limited signing abilities will not be doing a widespread signing tour though this is yet to be determined. In the meantime, I am accepting fully paid preorders for as long as my initial supply lasts.

The anticipated shipping date is sometime in mid-August but could be a bit sooner. Those who order from Farthest Reaches LLC are guaranteed to get a copy hand signed by Gene in the book itself, not on a bookplate.

Unfortunately, personalization requests WILL NOT be possible this time around due to Gene's limited signing ability.

The price for a hand signed copy is now $45 plus shipping. Shipping anywhere within the USA via USPS media mail (very securely packed) for $8 (1 book) or $10 (2 books). Tax will only be required for California residents.

The cost of shipping to international locations is dependent upon location and method of shipping.

I will have additional signed copies available in the very near future though can't guarantee the price will be at the initial preorder price of $36.

For those you who have ordered after my recent post announcing I'm sold out of preorders, I have been fortunate enough to obtain additional signed books though the cost is a bit higher at $45 per copy. It's the best I can but still well worth it in my humble opinion. This is a reflection of my own costs and expenses in order to obtain these signed copies.

I am now opening orders for the additional copies at $45 each and will continue to while supplies last.

This prompted me to post this message to everyone as I continue to package and ship at a steady pace. As I've said in the past and for those of you who know me, I work alone and in this case, each book is exceptionally packed with my own two hands which takes more time than you might imagine.

For those of you who are waiting, do not stress. I'm getting them out but close to 70 are still needing to be mailed. You will ALL receive your books I promise. I'm sorry but can't send tracking for each and every book given the time entailed though promise no book (or buyer) will be left behind.

In this case, though the buyer's books were about to be shipped I opted to simply provide a full and complete refund as I would for anyone else who might request it though no one else has.

So please just hang in there everyone. Obtaining these was quite a logistical undertaking though I was honored to work with Gene, support his book AND very happy to meet the needs of you, the collectors.

Despite enjoying every minute of it I couldn't begin shipping until end of August so we're really only two weeks in. These books ARE coming your way I promise. I know that many of you have already received your copies.

I first bought from Steve approximately 20 years ago. While circumstances mean that on occasion communications can be a bit slow, Steve always delivers.

I still have a small number of signed copies remaining that are priced at $45. If interested, please get them while they last by emailing me directly.

The next smaller supply of these which are already in hand are priced at $49.95 where they will remain for the foreseeable future. This based upon my own cost, supply and demand.

This is just a heads up for anyone who has not yet been able to obtain a copy. As you all know Gene is doing very few signings and the only copy of this book signed, I've been able to find on eBay is priced at $99.99!
