I have a couple dozen pairs of NASA crew boots that were issued to crew members only and are designated to be worn with their bright orange launch and entry suits during the shuttle years. There are two variations: your standard military-style all-leather boots and a nylon lightweight version similar to police duty boots that I believe were for the female crew members. All have JSC project tags, serial numbers sewn in the tongue, and some are associated with shuttle missions, none indicate if they are flown or not, but all are still interesting and in good shape with lots of sizes. I have them listed in my Space Junkies eBay Store for $250 a pair. RR just auctioned a pair for me that went for over $500 and came from the same lot as the ones on eBay, so a good deal! | |
