Up for sale is the quintessential image of the 20th century – a photograph of Buzz Aldrin on the moon taken by Neil Armstrong during the historic Apollo 11 mission.
This 16" by 20" photograph was signed by Buzz Aldrin using a sharpie during a private signing event for Novapace Galleries who then matted the photograph with a 4" gold embroidered mission patch in a black metal frame measuring 26.75 by 26.75 inches with UV-filter glass. Included is the NovaSpace Galleries Certificate of Authenticity complete with seal and signature of Kim Poor.The image and autograph are both excellent as is the mat and frame. It was briefly displayed in a darkened room without direct sunlight or fluorescent light – it is now stored in a box – it comes from a smoke free home. I am asking $2,000 with shipping in the US.
