The Gagarin 55th and Energia 70th anniversary covers are both SOLD at 5:30pmCT 12/3. The remaining covers have all been sold as of 12:10pmCT 12/6. Thanks! --------- I have for sale a limited number of Roscosmos postal covers that were flown onboard the International Space Station and signed by various expedition crews. Each envelope was on the station for at least an increment and therefore traveled over 100 million miles in orbit. Only 60 each of these envelopes were flown (30 for Roscosmos VIPs and 30 for the Russian Post Office) and never sold commercially. Each envelope has the ISS flight stamp and two ISS Russian segment cancellation stamps. The envelopes are 4.3 x 8.6 inches and unsealed. The reverse is blank and there is no insert. The envelope paper has a slightly metallic sheen which doesn't show up in the photos. The photos below are of the actual envelopes that you will receive. Each cover is a piece of memorabilia from the height of ISS cooperation in space and will make a unique display in any collection. Also a great Christmas gift for your favorite space collector. Given the current situation, I do not expect any more of these covers to be produced in the future. I auctioned a number of these back in 2017 on eBay for prices that went above four hundred dollars each. I am offering the covers below on CollectSPACE for $250 each. The Russian space corporation was founded in 1946 and the cover cancelled on August 26, 2016. The envelope features the likeness of Sergei Korolev, the first chief of the Energia design bureau and head of the Soviet space program in the 1950s and 1960s.  |
