This listing is for flown .5" x .25" pieces of Beta Cloth, from either Apollo 7 or Apollo 16. The A7 fabric came from Walt Cunningham's collection, while the A16 fabric came from John Young's collection.

Last year, I purchased flown Beta Cloth insignias from both missions, in their original 9"x9" size. I had a bit of a dilemma, as I keep most of my space items in a presentation portfolio with 8.5"x11" sleeves. I eventually decided to trim a quarter of an inch from each side. Normally I'd never cut a piece of history, but in this case, the overall pieces still look intact and complete, since I only removed a bit of the blank space that was intended to be removed anyway. I wasn't sure what to do with the leftover strips of flown fabric, so I decided to make a few of these photo displays for them.

Each strip of Beta Cloth will be attached to an 8x10" photo, using non-yellowing, archival-grade silicone (although I'd be happy to send it unglued if you prefer). I'll also include a certification document that describes the origin of the item, with photos of your individual piece and of the original insignias/COAs. I took high-resolution photos of each individual piece being cut, and I'll email those to the buyers as well. I've included sample photos in this gallery, so you know what to expect.

I'm asking $40 each, or $70 for the pair (I can offer discounts for multiple orders, or for orders paid by check/money order). US Shipping is $5. International Shipping is $20. If you'd like to make a purchase, or if you have any questions, please send me an email. Thank you for checking out this listing!

I can't access your email address from your profile. If you'd still like the item, you can send me an email, though.

All times are CT (US)
